Patricia Starek, M.S.Ed., has been working both in and out of the classroom to support struggling learners for nearly 20 years. For the last 8eight years she has worked for Scholastic and now HMH, first as an implementation manager for Professional Services and now as national services specialist for the Supplemental Intervention Solutions Group. She has consulted for the Children’s Literacy Initiative in the Newark Public Schools and for All Kinds of Minds in the New York City Public Schools. She taught middle school special education students in the NYC Public schools, is a certified Orton-Gillingham Therapist, and holds a master's degree in special education from Bank Street College of Education.
Edward Howard was a teacher and literacy coach with experience working at the state, district, and school levels in the utilization of technology and reading sciences. Edward has launched and adapted a number of international products in the U.S. K–12 market and has lived in the U.S. for over 10 years. Edward brings a strong knowledge of the online learning industry, with a focus on adaptive learning and new market technologies.
