How to Hold an Invention Convention in Your School

Thinking of doing a science fair with your students? Have you considered an invention convention instead?

With the increased status of engineering in the Next Generation Science Standards and research that shows that engineering can help students understand what they can do with the knowledge they are learning in science, encouraging students to invent and create is a natural outcome. Similar to a science fair, coming up with ideas and growing them can be challenging for students.

You can use the downloadable templates below to guide your students through the process of creating their inventions and sharing them with the world (or, at least your school)!
