William Bayers

Bill joined HMH in 2007 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and now serves as Executive Vice President overseeing all legal, regulatory and corporate matters.

Prior to HMH, he was Vice President and General Counsel of Harcourt Education Group. With decades of legal leadership, Bill brings deep expertise in corporate governance and regulatory affairs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
