Honorees to be featured in June at the 33rd Annual Model Schools Conference, the nation’s largest gathering for rapidly improving K-12 schools and districts

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  The Center for Model Schools, a division of adaptive learning company HMH, today announced the 2025 Model Schools, Innovative Districts and Epic Educators to be honored at the 33rd annual Model Schools Conference. This year’s honorees have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to transforming student outcomes by fostering learning environments where every student can thrive. 

The Model Schools Conference celebrates innovation and excellence in education, spotlighting groundbreaking practices that inspire and empower educators globally. 

Administrators and educators from the communities being honored will share their proven strategies for driving K-12 school improvement at the event, taking place June 22-25 in Washington, D.C. Representatives from 21 states and USVI are among this year’s honorees, including 16 elementary schools, 10 middle schools, 12 high schools, 8 innovative districts, and 12 epic educators recognized for their exceptional contributions to education.

Now in its 33rd year, the Model Schools Conference remains the nation’s largest gathering of rapidly improving K-12 schools and districts. This year’s theme, "Energize Your Passion, Fuel Your Momentum," reflects a commitment to reigniting educators’ purpose and accelerating meaningful change.
